LION'S MANE

BENEFITS

The lion's mane mushroom (hericium erinaceus) repairs and regenerates neurons in your body, resulting in an improvement in cognitive processes.

It is used to prevent and combat the effects of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, dementia, among others.

HOW IT WORKS

Lion's mane mushroom helps your brain produce NGF (nerve growth factor proteins), which stimulate the growth of new neurons and protect existing ones.

NGF keeps your nervous system healthy.

Lion's mane mushroom contains hericenones, a molecular compound that stimulates the creation of NGF in your brain.

FUN FACT

Scientist Rita Levi-Montalcini and her colleague Stanley Cohen won the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine in 1986 for the discovery of NGF proteins.

Rita is the first person to have lived more than 100 years and received the Nobel Prize. Rita died at the age of 103 and credited her longevity and insight to the use of NGF proteins.
