PSILOCYBE

MICRODOSING GUIDE

USES

Psilocybin is a natural antidepressant and anxiolytic. A microdose is a small dose of psilocybe mushroom (100-300mg). It's not a psychedelic dose, so you can carry out your daily activities with it and incorporate it into your daily life.

If you're feeling sad or anxious, dedicate your microdose to understanding where those feelings come from; the microdose will allow you to explore your sadness without being overwhelmed.

Understanding the causes of your depression or anxiety will help you make peace with these feelings and find solutions.

If you plan to use a microdose to focus or enhance your creativity, don't wait to feel its effects before starting to work. Begin your creative process as soon as you take your microdose. If you're already in a state of flow when it takes effect, the microdose will help you flow even more and go further.

“Inspiration exists, but it must find you working.”

DOSES

When starting out, experiment to find the ideal microdose for you.

Experiment with 1-3 capsules of 100 mg of psilocybe

A microdose does not produce psychedelic effects as it is a functional dose, but it is enough for you to feel its effects and benefits in your daily activities.

An ideal microdose for you feels like you're seeing the world through a magnifying glass. Everything feels amplified and clear. When you reflect at the end of your day, you'll notice that the day felt happy and light.

If you weigh more than 80kg, you probably need a higher dose (200-500mg).

Even if you have already found your ideal dose, you don't have to commit to that dose; it's okay to change to a higher dose if you feel you need it that day or are seeking a more recreational experience.

There are different types of microdoses that go beyond just the psilocybe mushroom and provide you with additional benefits. For more info on psilocybe microdosing combined with other mushrooms, see the post: Types of Microdosing.

WHAT IS THE IDEAL TYPE OF MICRODOSING FOR ME?

Choose the microdosing formula that is most aligned with your goals and provides you with the benefits you seek.

PSILO

Formula:

Best for :

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

The PSILO microdoses are microdoses that solely contain psilocybe mushroom. If it's your first time with microdosing or you're new to the world of mushrooms and their benefits, these microdoses are an excellent starting point.

NEURO

Formula:

Best for :

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Memory

  • Concentration

  • Strengthening the nervous system

If you're looking for everything that the PSILO microdoses offer but with additional benefits for your brain and nervous system, the NEURO microdoses are the best option for you.

The lion's mane mushroom repairs and regenerates neurons, thus improving your cognitive processes.

The niacin (vitamin B3), on the other hand, plays an important role in protein and energy metabolism, and it also has an antioxidant effect. It's important for skin, muscle, nerve and DNA regeneration, and it also helps maintain a healthy digestive system.

This microdosing formula was designed by Paul Stamets, who is one of the most renowned mycologists in the world.

You probably know him from his participation in the Netflix documentary Fantastic Fungi or his TED talk where he talks about how his mom recovered from cancer using the turkey tail mushroom.

Paul is the author of several books on cultivation, recognition, and applications of mushrooms.

ENERGY

Formula:

Best for :

  • Depression

  • Concentration

  • Physical performance

The ENERGY microdose has the antidepressant benefits of the psilocybe mushroom, but in addition, thanks to the cordyceps mushroom, it provides you with a boost of energy in your daily life, and a lot of concentration and performance in physically and mentally demanding activities.

Make sure you have plans for all that energy, or you'll be restless in your seat.

The cordyceps mushroom increases your adenosine triphosphate (ATP) levels, thus eliminating fatigue. Its beta-glucans oxygenate the body's cells and improve circulation.

The rhodiola rosea is an adaptogen that helps combat fatigue and also has antidepressant and anxiolytic properties.

SLEEP

Formula:

Best for :

  • Insomnia

  • Relaxation

  • Lucid dreams

The SLEEP microdose is perfect if you suffer from insomnia or don't rest adequately because you have light sleep. The ingredients in this microdose will help you relax and fall asleep. Sleep like you haven't in a long time!

The small dose of psilocybe mushroom in this blend ensures that you get all its anxiolytic and antidepressant benefits for better sleep without overstimulating your brain, allowing you to relax and surrender to sleep. The psilocybe in this dose will also help you have more vivid dreams and even enter a lucid dream more easily.

The analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of CBD will relax your muscles, helping you rest better.

The triterpenes from the reishi mushroom regulate hormones in your body, allowing it to relax and recover during sleep.

The withania somnifera is a traditional adaptogenic plant used in Ayurvedic medicine to improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and inflammation.

RESEARCH

A study conducted in 2017 by the Imperial College of London* followed 20 patients for 6 months.

The patients reported that conventional medicine tended to reinforce a feeling of disconnection and a desire to escape, while treatment with psilocybin fostered a feeling of connection and acceptance.
